The herdade do sobroso Sobro Branco is a blend of the typical Portuguese grapes: Antão Vaz, Arinto, Verdelho and the Palomino grape. The grapes were picked by hand. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel barrels at a controlled temperature for 30 days, after which it is allowed to mature further on its own lees. The Blanco Sobro (or Branco in Portuguese) has a straw yellow color and is very bright. This Portuguese white wine has a wonderfully fresh taste, fresh aromas of citrus and passion fruit. The wine is very elegant wine and has a good balance between the fruit and the acids. A delicious glass for any occasion and highly recommended with crustaceans and shellfish and with white fish with a bit of spiciness.

The grapes of the Claude Val come from selected vineyards with a clay-like gravel soil. The climate is Mediterranean with influences from the Atlantic Ocean. The Claude Val Rouge is a blend of Carignan, Grenache, Merlot, Syrah. In the glass, the Claude Val Rouge from Domaines Mas is light ruby red with a purple glow. In the nose a lot of fresh fruit such as plum, raspberry, but also spicy notes and a little pepper. In the mouth the wine is round, fresh and fruity with soft tannins and notes of licorice in the aftertaste. This everyone's friend actually always does well. The price / quality ratio is more than excellent and is a pleasant wine, not too heavy and does not get boring. The wine is delicious with a salad with grilled steak strips. One of the rare grape varieties of Languedoc, Cot, also known as Malbec, has a distinguished history in France. Winemaker Jean-Claude Mas has created this rich and velvety Malbec that offers exceptional complexity with floral aromas and notes of ripe red fruit. The Astruc dA Malbec is a blend of 90% Malbec 10% Cabernet Franc from the Appellation Pays d´Oc. The substrate is limestone and chalk for the Cabernet Franc and limestone and gravel for the Malbec. The vineyards are around 30 years old. In the glass, the dA Astruc Malbec has a deep purple color with ruby red hues. In the nose, the wine is powerful and complex with notes of plums, mocha and vanilla. In the mouth the wine is well balanced with ripe tannins. This is a qualitatively handsome, delicious and very affordable red wine from the dA series of Paul's Domaine Astruc.

While you wait for the 'great' wines of Moro to reach their peak, you can already fully enjoy this fruity, youthful Tempranillo from Emilio Moro. The Finca Resalso comes from the (relatively) younger vines. In the glass, the wine has a cherry red color with purple hues. In the nose, the aroma and intensity of the wine stimulates the senses. Pure fruit enjoyment of strawberries, cherries, raspberry liquorice and black forest fruits. The Finca Resalso is lively, with a spicy touch and just enough structure due to the 4 months aging in French barriques. It is a very fine wine with a well-developed structure that makes it very pleasant to drink. The Resalso has an excellent price-quality ratio. In the April edition of Hubrecht Duijker, the Finca Resalso by Emilio Moro receives a favorable assessment and the designation 'Recommended'.

In the glass, the TR3 (Tre) Gran Trio Rosso Pumi has a beautiful dark ruby red color. In the nose we smell black fruit such as blackberry, cherry and blueberry, but after some rolling and oxygen we also smell notes of chocolate, plums, raisins and some sweet herbs. In the mouth the TR3 Rosso is very soft and almost creamy with again the black fruit, but we also taste some vanilla, cocoa and toffee in the throat. The yield from the old vines is very minimal, so this wine is always only available to a very limited extent and Especially because the price is so attractive, the TR3 Pumi (white and red) is one of the top ones from San Marzano, of which they could sell many times more if they had it (which is not the case).

The Il Pumo is a blend of Malvasia Bianca & Sauvignon Blanc from Salento, Puglia. The vineyards are located approximately 100 meters above sea level. The soil consists of stony, chalky, poor soils, which explains the mineral touch in the wine. Because a cool sea breeze blows through the vineyards of San Marzano at night, this is popular because of the excellent price/quality. A nice glass of wine for a very good price goes hand-in-hand with Il pumo wines. In the glass, the Il Pumo Malvasia Sauvignon Salento has a straw yellow color with green reflections.
