The Clase Azul Tequila Ultra Añejo is the top model of Clase Azul and without a doubt the very best Grandcru Tequila available. The Tequila is described by the makers as the crown jewel in the range. A beautiful, long-aged tequila that comes in a beautiful handmade bottle; The Extra Añejo has been specially developed for the real connoisseur who is looking for luxurious tequila. In total, the Clase Azul Ultra Extra has matured for almost fourteen years, including five years in an ex-sherry cask, which provides a subtle sweetness to the taste. The bottle is a real feast for the eyes and is decorated with three precious metals: pure platinum, a silver medallion and a label for which 24-carat gold is used.

This premium tequila has a dark amber color in the glass. In the scent, notes of sherry, plums, apricots and cherries develop. Hints of honey, hazelnuts and powerful notes of oak follow this. A taste reminiscent of plums opens on the palate and is followed by hints of cinnamon, caramel, vanilla and caramelized ginger.
