Veuve Clicquot combines beauty, style and practicality to create unique objects that arouse aesthetic, joyful and positive emotions. The Clicquot Fridge collection is an eye-catcher and this reusable vintage mini fridge is inspired by the typical American 50's SMEG refrigerator.
In this stylish retro SMEG Fridge packaging you will find the delicious Brut Champagne from the well-known champagne house Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin. This packaging is not only beautiful to display in the house, for example, but also functional. If you put the champagne in the packaging, it will stay chilled for up to 2 hours! Note: This edition is limited, so be quick!
The Veuve Clicquot is the second most drunk champagne brut in the world after Moet & Chandon. The champagne has considerable power and good finesse and is therefore a wine that can be used excellently gastronomically, but is of course also an excellent aperitif. These refined bubbles are an absolute must for those who love a good glass of sparkling wine! The Veueve Clicquot Ponsardin comes in a beautiful bottle with the striking golden yellow label (carte jaune or yellow label). The champagne consists of a blend of 50% Pinot noir, 30% Chardonnay and 20% Meunier. Beautiful Champagne with a fine, creamy mousse, a fine balance and a long aftertaste with some honey in it. The full, firm structure and the rich, complex taste make it a serious pleasure.
GOOD FACT: The wine is stored in our conditioned Wine Warehouse where all our 2,500+ wines are stored and if you come to pick up the wine you will receive a nice discount.
Today's Maison van Veuve Clicquot has one of the finest champagne vineyards, both in the size and quality of the vines. The 390 hectares are spread over 12 of the 17 Grands Crus and between 20 of the 44 Premiers Crus that make up the entire Champagne region. This exceptional heritage has been built up over the centuries, based on the plots first laid out by the founder and supplemented by later owners. Veuve Clicquot bears Madame Clicquot's casual territorial mark.
While the latter represents only a quarter of the total area of the vines in the entire Champagne region. The grape variety of each plot is determined by assessing the soil, climate, and exposure. The Veuve Clicquot vineyard consists of 47% Chardonnay grapes, 36% Pinot Noir and 17% Pinot Meunier. Clicquot's vines are usually located on gently sloping hillsides allowing the vines to take advantage of shallow soil and maximum exposure to sunlight. Since its inception, the Maison de Veuve Clicquot has also built a strong partnership with its fellow winegrowers in Champagne. These suppliers of grapes and white wines contribute to the consistent quality of the Veuve Clicquot wines.
