Krug Grande Cuvée is dominated by Pinot Noir. That is why this champagne is so full, rich and vinous. The aftertaste is wonderfully long as you would expect with a champagne of this caliber. Not a typical festive champagne, but a wonderfully complex champagne where you have the tendency to close your eyes at every sip to just taste and unravel the formula. In the glass, the wine is light gold with fine, vibrant bubbles that are a harbinger of pleasure. In the nose aromas of blossoming flowers, ripe and dried fruit, marzipan, gingerbread and citrus fruits.
