The Il Pumo is a blend of Malvasia Bianca & Sauvignon Blanc from Salento, Puglia. The vineyards are located approximately 100 meters above sea level. The soil consists of stony, chalky, poor soils, which explains the mineral touch in the wine. Because a cool sea breeze blows through the vineyards of San Marzano at night, this is popular because of the excellent price/quality. A nice glass of wine for a very good price goes hand-in-hand with Il pumo wines. In the glass, the Il Pumo Malvasia Sauvignon Salento has a straw yellow color with green reflections.
