The winery Lagar Da Condesa is also part of Juan Gil, family business founded in 1916 in the center of the city of Jumilla and is the champion of the Jumilia map as a (top) wine region. True to its origins, this winery has seamlessly merged tradition and the latest technology with respect for the environment. Juan Gill is also the creator of the famous Clio and the world famous El Nido.
This Albariño wine is produced in our Lagar da Condesa, located in the Valle do Salnés, belonging to Galicia in northwestern Spain. A 100% Albariño grape, a variety cultivated in Galicia for centuries. The O Fillo da Condesa Albariño is, in our opinion, one of the very best Albariño price considering. The Albariño was left on its fine lees for about 3-5 months to give the roundness and creamy structure on the palate and to ensure the optimal conditions for consumption.
The O Fillo da Condesa has the characteristic very light but bright straw yellow color with a lively minerality reminiscent of the sea. The wine has a good structure in the mouth, well integrated crisp acidity and great aromatic intensity with hints of lemon and floral notes. The Atlantic Ocean crackles from the glass with a kind of saltiness. This is a great aperitif and of course perfect with anything that comes from the sea, especially all kinds of shellfish, grilled fish, salads, chicken, seafood paella, clam pasta.
