Bodegas MORCA is part of Juan Gil Family. Bodegas Morca is located in the village of Borja, in the province of Zaragoza and belongs to the Campo de Borja appellation - the region famous for the red firm garnacha. Garnacha grapes from small plots with low yields are hand-picked and fermented separately in small barrels, then transferred to French oak barrels where the De FLOR DE GODA GARNACHA resides for 6 months to transform into a fruity, full-bodied very attractive wine

The Flor de Goda is almost opaque in the glass with purple hues as befits a full bodied Garnacha. The wine exhibits richness and finesse with layers of blackberry, blueberry and plum, mineral, mocha and spice fringed with dark chocolate, licorice and crushed pepper. The Flor de Goda is the little brother of the Morca and is a delicious fruity, full bodied wine which is a perfect companion for rice, pasta (noodles, spaghetti, macaroni), vegetables, mushrooms, stew, sausage, pork, roast meat, grilled meat and also delicious with a spicy (blue vein) cheese. We advise to drink this wine (and as with many warm-blooded wines) slightly chilled - Blessed!!! (14-16 degrees).

Vineyard for 2022 Gil Family Estates Bodegas Morca Flor de Goda

Bodegas Morca is found in Borja, the birthplace of Grenacha, iconic for its specific limestone soils that give the wines character. Situated on the Moncayo slopes you will find the 30-50 year old vines of Bodegas Morca. The cool winds from the north increase the wine's concentration whilst still preserving a freshness and lively acidity. Each parcel of grapes is hand harvested and vinified separately - allowing for the best blending opportunities.
