This Corette Sauvignon Blanc is fresh, light, elegant and aromatic. The white wine has a beautiful light yellow color and has very full aromatic scents of gooseberries and lime on the nose. In addition, some floral notes of honeysuckle and a light, stony scent. Like all Corette wines, this wine is also a so-called monocépage, i.e. made from 1 single grape variety. This wine is therefore made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes. All in all, this is a fresh, balanced wine that is easy to drink and round in taste.
After the harvest (early in the morning when it is still cool) the grapes are quickly transported to the cellars. After a few hours of cool soaking on the skins – which ensures even more beautiful aromas – the grapes are pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at 15 to 18°C. This wine is extremely suitable as an aperitif and also tastes very nice with dishes with fish, chicken and pasta. Also delicious with goat cheese.
Fact: The Corette wines are listed as a luxury house wine in many 1/2 and even in a 3* Michelin restaurant in the Netherlands - Without exception, the Corette have a more than excellent price/quality ratio.
Delicious wines from a single grape variety (monocépages) in a clean, accessible, fruity style. These are the Corette wines - really wines to please immediately. At the same time, the Corette wines are not only typical of their grape varieties, but also of their region of origin. The wines are described as: Wines for everyday use, that offer something to hold on to, that you can rely on, because they are always good and offer what you are looking for. Because you are a wine lover, but not necessarily a wine connoisseur. That is why we developed Corette seven years ago. The wines are made by Badet Clément, from Catherine and Laurent Delaunay, a large house that originates from Burgundy, but has also been active in Languedoc-Roussillon and the southern Rhône for a long time.
The Corette wine series has been developed exclusively for the trade and catering industry and currently consists of 8 products, each made from a single grape variety. Much attention has been paid to the appearance of the Corette wines (including labels, bottles and presentation). The Corette series contains wines from the Pays d'Oc. Corette stands for pure and honest wines for every day; wines in which the aroma and taste characteristics of the grape are well expressed. The chic and stylish design ensures the right experience on every table.
