Aubert & Mathieu is the adventure of two friends who want to change the way wine is produced and consumed: a modern and committed vision. They make wines from the best terroirs of the Languedoc Roussillon! The wines are characterized by our style, which fluctuates between the freshness, the greed of the fruit and the respect for the typicity of the terroirs. High quality, cheerful and non-conformist. A committed vision for the planet is an important element in the vision. The world of tomorrow is being built today. This is put into action with so there is serious attention to operating C02 neutral, preserving local biodiversity, meaningful viticulture and ecologically designed packaging.

Fly out of the corner, enjoy skiing off the slopes. To dare. And so do our friends Aubert & Mathieu. Just look at their label on the bottle. Otherwise, shall we say. And everything eco and as sustainable as possible. Also wanted to make a quality Chardonnay in the deep south of France. And they succeed! Their “Hors Pistes' has a brioche taste in the smell. Soft aromas of almonds and apricots enhanced by citrus fruits that bring the necessary acidity for a nice balance. The Chardonnay goes well with langoustines from the grill with melted lime butter. And oh well.. A cheese fondue maybe? So after skiing...

ABOUT THE LABELS
The labels translate the prestige through the use of ancient engravings representing the foothills of the Pyrenees. These are old engravings that have been colored in. They are also resolutely modern in the derivation of portraits of young Californian aristocrats from the nineteenth century, a real nod to the Nieuwe. On the Chardonnay we discover the portrait of a mountain woman, with soft features that refer to the creamy side of the Chardonnay. The mountains are those of the Pyrenees and are reminiscent of the AOP Limoux of our Chardonnay, known for its beautiful crémants. The Pinot is represented by a man with his head in the clouds. This wine is a call to the imagination and to daydream. In IGP Pays d'Oc, this Pinot Noir offers delicate and fresh aromas. This indisputable freshness is due to the high altitude vineyards selected for this wine.
