100% Verdejo from Torre de Vejezate from the Spanish wine region of La Mancha. The verdejo grapes benefit in La Mancha from many hours of sunshine and cold winters. The vinification takes place at low temperatures in order to preserve the fruit aromas as well as possible.
This tasty Verdejo has aromas of citrus, melon and floral notes. The taste is fresh, round and crisp. Good as an aperitif, and delicious with tapas, white meat and soft cheeses.
Torre de Vejezate is part of Bodegas Crisve. The Bodegas is located in the middle of the Spanish Denominacion de Origen La Mancha. In 1955, a group of 25 grape growers, led by Juan Manuel Orriach Moreno, founded the Bodegas Cristo la Vega cooperative. Today it is a state of the art Bodega equipped with the most modern technical gadgets for producing top wines for a very fair price.
