2021 Telmo Rodriguez Gaba do Xil O Barreiro

Telmo Rodríguez is a versatile winemaker who owns vineyards throughout Spain that combine history, top terroir and quality. Fruit, relatively little wood influence and enormous drinkability characterize the Telmo wines.

Very good value for money. Fresh grassy Godello. White fruit, a touch of herbs, minerals, almonds and optimal acidity, all made without poison and fertilizers. A soft pressing, followed by a cool traditional white vinification. The wine was aged in stainless steel tanks. In our opinion one of the better white wines for the money

Taste
Round in the mouth, full and even a bit creamy but nicely dry with ripe fruit, almonds and minerals.

grape variety
Gaba do Xil is made from the Godello grape, a grape variety indigenous to Galicia. Becoming very popular for its elegance and freshness. Highly recommend.

Odor
Soft fragrance with white flowers, spiciness, dried white fruit and honey.
