2021 Il Palagio Message In a Bottle Rosso

Message in a Bottle is the famous song by Sting/The Police and they have made a very appropriate wine here at Il Palogio (Sting's wine estate), which should also not be overlooked. A beautiful wine in a beautiful bottle. It is a very typical Tuscan wine made from Sangiovese and Syrah. This super-tuscan is very fruity yet spicy due to the blend with the Syrah grape and together this provides a soft taste with a nice aftertaste. The Message in a Bottle is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels after which it is bottled for a further 6 months. The result is here! The wine has beautiful aromas and flavors of cherries and blackcurrants and spices. Delicious to drink with all kinds of Italian dishes; meat, pasta or anti-pasta. The wine is actually an 'all-rounder', in itself it is a pleasure to drink, but with a dish the flavors come out even more. The wine is certified organic.
