2021 Génération Chardonnay Powered by Nature

These Génération wines are made with respect for PEOPLE, PLANET and HEALTH! The wines are certified organic, fair trade and/or sustainable with as little or no added sulphites as possible and very little residual sugar. Quality always comes first, the expression of the terroir and the intense taste of the wines are for the keywords "Made with Passion, Powered by Nature". But still very affordable.

Generation 0 is a new Generation of wines for which winemaker Pierrick Harang has been asked to create the first series. These wines are made with passion for people, nature and health. The wines are organic or sustainable with as few sulphites as possible and low in residual sugar. Quality always comes first, the expression of the terroir and the always beautiful intensity of the wines are the basis.

His family tradition dates back to the time when his great-grandfather was a wine producer in Algeria. After the independence of Algeria, his grandparents gave up everything and took refuge in France. His father continued his career in Champagne, where he was cellar master for the high-quality champagne houses. Pierrick grew up with this passion for wine, it was instilled in him from an early age. After three years of scientific studies in Brest, Pierrick was accepted at the Training and Research Center in Oenology of Montpellier, where he graduated after two years!

A small hint (3%) of viognier has been added to this French white Génération Chardonnay, giving this full-bodied, but effervescent wine with tropical notes and a long finish with typical southern French spiciness. This is highly recommended for Mediterranean dishes and of course good company.
The wine is produced organically, vegan-friendly and low in sulphite.
