On the nose, the Cloudy Bay Chardonnay is bright and refined. The aromas do not suggest how deep and complex the taste is. The scent is instantly fresh and seductive, with candied lemon, citrus blossom and subtle spices. The wine has a round mouthfeel, with mild aromas of citrus and stone fruits in layers of cream and hazelnut. The wine has a nice aging potential.
