The Bogle family has been farming for over 100 years. Since the late 1960s, grapes have also been grown in the California wine region of Clarksburg and later Lodi. The Merlot grapes come from the Clarksburg, Lodi and Monterey appellations.
The warm days tempered by cool nights allow the grapes on the vine to ripen properly in their own time. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes lingered on the vines well into fall, enjoying sun-drenched California days and cool, crisp nights to achieve their complex flavors. The Cabernet grapes have matured in American oak for 16 months. The wine has intriguing and layered flavours. The Bogle is a powerful full soft round red wine. Despite the 12 months wood aging, the juicy remains well preserved with this Bogle. Concentrated red wine, blackcurrant, plums supplemented with hints of wood and chocolate characterize the aroma. This Bogle Cabernet Sauvignon goes particularly well in combination with rib-eye steak from the grill, barbecue or from the pan, big game or with hard cheese after dinner.
Bogle is certified by several agencies: California Certified Sustainable Winegrowing, Lodi Rules Certified Green Certificate and the “Sacramento Area Sustainable Business” Certificate.

The Bogle family has been growing wines since the nineteenth century. It wasn't until around 1968 that the family planted the first vines near Clarksburgh USA. After years of hard work, the Bogle family has more than 1,200 acres of viticulture in California. With the growth of the company, the family established a name within the wine world, both in America and abroad. The main reason for the success is that the family is engaged in the production of wine on a daily basis. The family understands that high quality wines start with excellent grape varieties. They ensure this by working organically with respect for the land and the environment. The story behind the pheasant on the labels of the wines is as follows. The family wanted a label that reflected the region of the vineyards. The family came into contact with the artist Paul Lorenzi, who was sketching the wines one evening. Suddenly a beautiful pheasant sat in the middle of the vineyard. The Bogle wines label was born!
