This Malbec from Zuccardi has a lot of intensity and complexity. We are talking about plenty of aromas of violets and blueberries with some aromatic herbs. In the taste, some black pepper and spicy tannin are added. This wine has backbone. Because 30-50% is matured in French oak foudres, the wine has a nice round mouthfeel. Lively acidity! This is really tasty, with a fine, chalky tannin. Actually just great. This Zuccardi Mountain Vineyard Malbec is delicious with a Black pepper steak! May also be a nice traditional green pepper sauce…. Also fantastic with a roe of pepper with a small piece of bitter chocolate in the sauce.
