2020 Poliziano Rosso di Montepulciano

A beautiful full red wine with aromas of cherries, plums and some coffee/leather. A juicy starter with lots of red fruit in the taste. It is an accessible wine with a lot of taste, nice and juicy, concentrated and has a beautiful aftertaste with fresh acids. The wine is already much more accessible than its big brother the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. Frederico Carletti, the current owner of Azienda Agricola Poliziano, is responsible for a revolutionary change. Carletti has turned Poliziano into a real wine-producing company, producing and bottling its own wines. He left for Piemonte to learn the trade of oenologist at university. He then did internships at various wine producers, in order to gain the necessary practical experience. Then it was time to fulfill his childhood dream.
