Description
The Pinot Noir grapes for the Sonoma Cut are carefully harvested from renowned vineyards in Sonoma County, from locations that express a true sense of terroir. This Pinot Noir is artfully crafted by winemaker Brian Maloney, where he captures the true essence of a Sonoma Pinot Noir. The wine has matured for 12 months in French oak. On the nose, the notes of red fruits are complimented by an earthiness of the forest floor. On the palate there are notes of ripe red cherries and blackberries, all brought together by a delicate tannin structure. The Sonoma Cut is a perfect and especially elegant Pinot Noir.
Whether you enjoy a succulent pork roast, a savory pork tenderloin, or another pork dish, this Pinot Noir pairs perfectly. Its bright acidity cuts through the richness of the meat, while the balanced tannins provide structure and a velvety mouthfeel. The wine's flavor profile beautifully complements the savory notes of pork, creating a harmonious combination that leaves your taste buds wanting more. In addition to the great wine, the outfit should also not be mentioned. On the label they indicate with which part (cut) of the Pig the wine can best be paired.
