2020 Méo-Camuzet Bourgogne Blanc

Jean-Nicolas Méo is widely regarded as one of the very best producers of red Burgundies. His wines have a unique style. They possess a sensual velvety structure, complexity, richness, depth and an enchanting perfume. They are very reminiscent of the wines of the recently deceased Henri Jayer (according to many the greatest winemaker in the modern history of Burgundy). This is not surprising, Jean Méo learned the trade from Jayer and he was associated with Méo-Camuzet as an advisor for a long time.

The white Burgundy is a 100% Chardonnay. This white Meo Camuzet is balanced with an aromatic complexity. This chardonnay burgundy offers an expressive nose with notes of citrus, white flowers and a hint of herbal tea. On the palate, this Camuzet is medium-bodied with a balanced, intense and long finish.
