Silver Medal - Berliner Wine Trophy 2019
The 125 Primitivo del Salento IGP is a 100% Primitivo coming from a vineyard located in Taranto - Puglia. The grapes are hand-picked and the wine has undergone traditional winemaking and has been aged in wood for 12 months. The 125 Primitivio is an elegant dark red full-bodied wine with an intense aroma of ripe plum and cherry jam. Slightly spicy with hints of vanilla and cocoa in the final. Beautiful structure with ripe, full tannins. we dare to say that next to the Rivera Primitivo , the Feudi version certainly falls in the same class and is almost unbeatable in terms of price/quality. The 125 Primitivo is an excellent glass to enjoy and an excellent accompaniment to a steak or stews and delicious with a hash.
