The Dumanet wines are the house wines in a number of star restaurants. As a condition to be allowed to carry these wines, we are not allowed to release the names of these restaurants, but these are sounding names and we can actually understand that people like to work with the wines of Dumanet because quality is very good, price very attractive and the style in which the wines are made means that this is highly appreciated by almost everyone.

For lovers of wood-aged Chardonnay wines, so those who love that butter in the Chardonnay, we can certainly recommend this white Dumanet Chardonnay Reserve. The grapes come from old Pay D'oc vineyards located on a soil full of limestone and pebbles. These vines grow in a perfect climate with warm days, not too many outliers and the proximity to the sea and the ever-present wind provides sufficient cooling in the evening and night.

After the harvest, it is first cooled to settle and then it is gently pressed. In this way, only the most beautiful and purest juice is obtained from Dumanet. After this, part of the wine is aged in oak barrels and the rest is aged in stainless steel, which gives this Chardonnay its strength and flexibility while retaining freshness. After this period, the bottle matures for a total of eight months in the bottle in Dumanet's cellar before it can be sold.

In the glass, this Dumanet Chardonnay Reserve has a bright straw yellow color with notes of pear and yellow apple in the nose, beautifully lush and broad and a hint of vanilla. In the mouth the wine is full bodied but also nice and fresh, soft and easy, dry but not strict at all. In the aftertaste, this Dumanet Chardonnay Reserve is soft and creamy and has a long aftertaste.

FACT : The label shows 2 cycling men, which reminds us of the beautiful bike rides through the vineyards. The winemaker used to cycle through the vineyards with the idea of making a top wine from this one, well he succeeded so many years later.
