At Cignomoro it is very consciously about the choices they make and have made. They consciously chose Puglia, consciously for the vineyards and to grow their vines there. They chose this because they believe that they can make wine that speaks here. The power of the sun, wind and sea ensures that every sip is unique. They chose the “red lands” between Manduria and Carosino. With the latest vinification techniques, without forgetting the value of a family winery, they ensure that the wines of Cignomoro can be counted among the best in Puglia.
The Cignomoro Pepe Nero Bianco is a blend of Verdeca, Bianco D'alessano and Minutolo. The grapes are first cooled after the harvest with a cold pressing, after which the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures between 16 and 18 C. In the glass, the wine has a light straw yellow color with golden reflections. Aromatic on the nose with notes of white flowers, green apple, citrus fruit and pineapple. In the mouth a fruity taste with pleasant acidity and a persistent aftertaste. a delicious glass of oim to enjoy stand-alone and a good wine for on the terrace, but also combines very well with fish and seafood.
