2020 Bodegas El Nido Nido (licht beschadigd)

The El Nido of the bodega of the same name is one of the top 25 best wines in Spain. Top wine from domain of Juan Gill. Only 5000 bottles are made of El Nido on average, so this is scarce, unique and incomparable. Absolute topper vinified by grandmaster Chris Ringland (at Parker good for 100/100).

The El Nido was produced with a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Monastrell fermented in stainless steel with neutral yeasts and aged for 23 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels; it is a ripe, powerful and intoxicating Mediterranean red with generous oak produced in a very specific style. This is intoxicating and ripe, super powerful with concentration and punch, but in balance. As with the Clio, the integration of the oak is in one word great. This has all the ingredients and balance to develop beautifully and for a long time in the bottle. It has to be one of the best vintages for El Nido. Only 5000 bottles are made of El Nido on average, so this is scarce, unique and incomparable.
