A&D Wines was named the most revolutionary wine producer by Portugal's leading wine magazine VINHO last year for their innovative Vinho Verde. A&D are Alexandre & Dialina Gomas, technical engineers with a great love for wine. You can immediately see that technical precision in the extremely healthy vineyards and very clean winery in the renovated Quinta de Santa Teresa. The wines are made from native varieties such as Avesso, Arinto and Malvasia Fina, with minimal intervention. Result: incredibly pure wines with a lot of grape authenticity, expression and freshness.

Originating from the Vinho Verde sub-region of Baião, right against the Douro area. In this warmer microclimate, the grapes acquire a particularly aromatic concentration for Vinho Verde. The grapes are picked and selected by hand. The grapes are destemmed. The fermentation takes place at a low temperature in stainless steel tanks, partly with skin contact. During the process as little intervention as possible is made to get the most direct translation of the grape, the vineyard and the climate. In the glass, the A&D LIV is fresh lemon yellow with the nose being elegant and aromatic with notes of citrus, apricot and tropical fruit. In the mouth the wine is light and fruity (citrus and tropical fruit), lively and with fresh acidity. Delicious with a 'panzanella': a summer bread salad made from stale bread, tomatoes, olive oil, vinegar.

Weingut Polz is located on the Grassnitzberg in Austria's southern wine region, Südsteiermark. This family business has a rich history that dates back to 1912, when Johann Polz took his first steps in viticulture. Today, the winery is run by the fourth generation, who continue to improve the quality of their grapes and wines with sustainable viticulture and modern technologies.

Although Austria is known for Grüner Veltliner, it is the Sauvignon Blanc grape that steals the show in Südsteiermark. About one fifth of the vineyard area in this region is planted with this grape variety. Sauvignon blanc thrives in the hilly landscape and the relatively mild climate with cool nights. The wines range from fresh and fruity to subtle and elegant.

Weingut Polz offers a wide range of wines, including the well-known Sauvignon Blanc, Weissburgunder and Morillon (local name for Chardonnay). All grapes are harvested by hand. The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks or large wooden barrels. Everything is aimed at preserving the grape's own aromas and freshness.

In addition to making beautiful wines, Weingut Polz is also focused on sustainability and the preservation of biodiversity, and they try to minimize the impact of their winegrowing activities on the environment. They are currently in the process of converting to organic viticulture.
