Ripe fruit, spices, minerals, nice tannins and excellent aftertaste. Very fragrant and floral, with dried herbs, violets. The trademark of the Mencia grape is the smoky fleshiness, soft fruity tannins and a long spicy finish without alcoholic fatigue. This is a medium-weight, delicious and very stylish wine. This wine, influenced by the Atlantic climate, is original and at the same time a clear reflection of the Valdeorras area. The Telmo Rodriguez Gaba do Xil Mencia (gosh, that's a mouth full isn't it!) Simply delicious and an excellent accompaniment to sushi and, for example, spicy dishes or with dry sausages and tapas. 91/100 Parker
