Description
Jamieson Ranch Vineyards in Nappa Valley (United States) is more than just a producer of great wines. Their label "Light Horse" is a metaphor for the winery's unique program, which provides animal therapy for wine lovers, war veterans and children with disabilities. So making beautiful wines and being socially involved go hand-in-hand
This Calfornian Chardonnay has a very good price-quality ratio. This Chardonnay is wonderfully full and creamy, but also has a very pleasant acidity, which makes this wine easy to drink. The use of wood gives off the flavors of hazelnut and caramel, which also make the wine very pleasant and complex. The Californian Light Horse Chardonnay has been matured for 12 months, 10% of which is in new French oak. This provides a beautiful wood tone without being excessive and keeps the wine nice and fresh and, above all, elegant. In the nose we mainly smell notes of apricots, juicy pear, peach and honeysuckle, hints of pineapple and orange peel. In the mouth the wine is round and soft with a long, rich aftertaste like warm chestnuts. The beautiful acidity makes this well-formed and satisfying wine fresh to the last drop.
This Chardonnay combines well with various dishes. Try this wine with a nice piece of fried fish, a dish with shellfish, or even a light meat dish.

Wijnhuis
Jamieson Ranch Vineyards founded the Light Horse Foundation. The foundation is committed to people with disabilities, especially those with autism, and supporting other major humanitarian disabilities. A portion of the profits from Jamieson Ranch Vineyards supports the Light Horse Foundation. Jamieson Ranch Vineyards (founded in 2013) is Napa Vally's southernmost winery, one of the world's major wine regions. The 300 acres of the estate are perched on gently rolling hills, and on the terraced vineyards, the grapes benefit from the cool morning mist and the breezes of nearby San Pablo Bay, climatic conditions that only benefit the production of exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
