2019 Génération Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz

The Génération Cabernet & Shiraz has a deep red color and this South African wine has already won many hearts. The price / quality ratio for this wine is unprecedentedly good. When you taste it you will find black cherries, blackberries and chocolate and to top it off a little pepper. The wine is supple, juicy, elegant and fruity. A delicious glass to enjoy as is. Nice and red without being overly heavy. Delicious with grilled meat, pasta with tomato, grilled vegetables.

Although the city of Wellington has more than 50,000 inhabitants, the surrounding wine region is quite quiet, also because it is much less touristy than, for example, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
