The Awards collection (Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon) is made in very limited quantities and is the best fruit from the Coppola vineyards and a collectos item. The Coppola 94th Award has a deep ruby red color in the glass. This Californian topper is warm, spicy and sultry with aromas of coffee, leather, tobacco, plum and a hint of mint. The wine is surprisingly accessible and powerful with aromas of mint and vanilla, plum and leather, jam, juniper berries. Very complex and not for nothing Coppola's top model. Delicious with a nice hamburger, grilled sirloin steak, tortellini with pesto, mature cheeses.
