2019 Bernard Moreau Chassagne Montrachet

The Bernard Moreau Chassagne Montrachet u has a beautiful straw yellow color with wonderful aromas of white flowers, crisp green apple, nutmeg and wheat toast, Moreau's Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Maltroie is medium to full bodied with a satiny and textured, with a fine depth in the core, clear acids and a precise, salty aftertaste. Bernard and Alexandre Moreau own and manage a 9 ha domain in the famous Chassagne-Montrachet with a total of eleven wines (eight white and three red). The vinification here is classic, all wines are aged in oak casks. Clearing and filtering is done as little as possible. Elegance and refinement are of paramount importance here. Moreau's wines have progressed so much in quality in recent years that they are now counted among the top of the famous village of Chassagne-Montrachet.
