2022 Espiritu de Chile Chronos Classic Chardonnay

Bordering the south of the Rapel Valley, the Curicó area in Chile is characterized by a Mediterranean climate and soil rich in loam and clay. In the Curicó Valley, temperatures drop significantly at night, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly and maintain their acidity. This results in particularly fresh and fruit-driven wines.

The Chronos Chardonnay grapes are harvested by hand at two different times to preserve freshness and fruity character. Fermented at 15 degrees in stainless steel tanks and then aged 'sur lie' for 45 days to obtain roundness and mouth structure. In the glass, the Espiritu de Chile Chronos Chardonnay from the Classic series has a light golden yellow color with expressive aromas of exotic fruit, pear, melon and a hint of vanilla in the nose. Pleasantly soft mouthfeel with a fresh aftertaste. A fresh and fruity chardonnay and delicious with fish, mussels, pasta and salads.
