2022 Quinta de Soalheiro Granit

The Alvarinho "Granit" is a beautiful Portuguese dry top wine. It is an Albarino (Alvarinho) wine that comes from specifically selected vineyards located at an altitude of 150+ meters on a terroir of granite origin, in which the minerality is very decisive and this also explains the name of the wine. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. This Alvarinho clearly stands out, which is mainly due to the higher vineyards, the higher fermentation temperature and the longer contact with the lees. The wine is very elegant with clear mineral aromas with a dry and persistent taste. The purity of fruit is very special. The wine is still youthful but can certainly be drunk already, but can easily remain in the cellar until 2030+. Great value for money and not 'average'
