The Marnier-Lapostolle family, founder and owner of the world-renowned liqueur brand Grand Marnier, has also been making beautiful wines for generations. The icon wine is Clos Apalta, perhaps the best wine in South America

D'Alamel wines epitomize the excellent growing conditions in Chile, where the vineyards are located between the South Pacific and the foothills of the Andes Mountains. These wines are named in honor of Cyril D'Alamel de Bournet, who founded Lapostolle Wine with his wife Alexandra Marnier.

D'Alamel wines are the result of careful soil management, pruning, leaf pulling and green harvesting to ensure the right conditions for healthy vines to deliver their best fruit year after year. D'Alamel wines use ecological bottles that are 14% lighter and made from recycled glass, and the raw materials used for the labels, boxes and corks come from certified sustainable forests.

The Lapostolle D'Alamel Carmanère Reserva has been rediscovered by the "French Chileans". The wine is mainly made from Carmenère with a very small percentage of Merlot, Petit Verdot & Syrah. The aging is partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in oak barrels to keep a good freshness and that of naturally solid red wine. In the glass, the wine has a brilliant red-purple color. In the nose aromas of ripe red fruit and notes of sweet spices, such as cinnamon and black pepper. The taste is soft and juicy and has a good structure and a lingering aftertaste. Grown according to organic principles and certified CO2 neutral.
