Description
In the glass, this beautiful Doisy-Vedrines has a light straw yellow color with a greenish tinge. The Doisy-Vedrines has notes of lemonade, grapefruit, white peaches, ginger, honeycomb and a little minerality of slate in the nose. On the palate, the Doisy is wonderfully elegant and refreshing with delicate citrus and minerality and a lively citrus lift to the finish. This Sauternes tastes like an exotic fruit cocktail. Play with this flavor and serve desserts that are not too sweet.

Château Doisy Védrines is located in the French town of Barsac, a commune in the Gironde department in the Graves region. Château Doisy Védrines is a beautiful domain from the Sauternes. The terroir consists of clay with cobalt and pebbles. The château has planted the 25 hectare vineyard with Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle and produces only white wines. The vines are about 40 years old on average.
The grapes are picked manually and selected rigorously. The winemaker uses a very long fermentation without additives. The wine is certified organic and is aged for at least 6 years in oak barrels
