Description
With its eternal search for quality, the Domaine Fougeray de Beauclair estate is placed next to the largest in Burgundy. The plot is located in the heart of the village of Fixin on a lime-soil. The cuvée comes from vines that were planted in 1946. The harvest is manual and the alcoholic fermentation takes place under temperature control at 31 ° C for no less than three weeks and then the wine stays in oak barrels for 12 to 15 months. This 2017 vintage "The Village" from Côte de Nuits has a lush nose, which reveals ripe fruit such as black cherry and red currant. Young, fresh mouth is crispy with red fruit and beautiful tannins and in a subsequent layer the Burgundy Village will surprise you with the delicacy of the aromas of blackberries and licorice. A dense and spicy wine with an attractive storage potential.
