2022 Clos Figueras Serras del Priorat

The vineyards are located on ancient terraces that are difficult to reach. The mountainous Priorat has a unique microclimate and the difference between day and night temperatures is enormous. The soil consists of slate, also called llicorella, which provides the typical terroir character in the wine. Production in the area is small-scale and its popularity is still growing. Serras del Priorat is made from Garnacha (55%), Cariñena (20%), Syrah (15%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). The average age of the sticks is 16 years. The agriculture is certified organic and they follow the biodynamic calendar, but are not certified.
