2017 Chateau les Fenals Fitou

Fitou Chateau Fenals is one of those red beautiful Languedoc wines that everyone should experience: this is a dense and full-bodied wine with strong flavors, but always in a harmonious style. Dark red against the purple in the glass with notes of red and black fruit (cherry, blackberry), leather and herbs are clearly present. These deep Fenals shows the potential of the Fitou. We are convinced that there are few other wines that can match this price / quality. The 2013 has a drinking window from 2018-2025. In addition to the beautiful wine, it is certainly a recommendation if you are in the area to visit the beautiful castle. The vineyards are located in the Leucate. The terroir consists mainly of rock and limestone. The climate is dry, but the proximity of the sea regularly provides the necessary moisture. The Carignan, Grenache and Syrah are separately vinified and the final assembly takes place in the spring after the harvest.
