The Dupuy vineyards are located in Verdigny in the Loire Valley in Northern France. The plots are mainly located in Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé and Touraine. The wine company's main motivation and passion is the Sauvignon Blanc grape, which uses the most advanced techniques to make a wine that is as pure and authentic as possible. The company now also makes very nice wines with Chenin Blanc and Pinot Noir.

The estate and wine empire have been owned by Miguela and Joost Willebois since 2004. Dutchman Joost Willebois has French roots, his French ancestors had the name Villebois, which later became Willebois. When Miguela and Joost bought a wine estate in Verdigny in 2004, they renamed it Villebois.

Their wines under the name Charles Dupuy are a tribute to Charles Etienne Dupuy, who in 1920 donated his 80 hectares of land to the then wine estate.

"Quincy" comes from the name of a Roman who created the domain of Quintius. Planted on the banks of the Cher, near the city of Bourges, Quincy wines receive a noble order from the Duke Jean de Berry in the 14th century. Today from the Quincy appellation one of the most elegant Sauvignon Blanc of the Loire in a fruity style, full of minerality "

The present terroir, deposited on a lacustrine limestone plateau from the time of Ludien and Stampien, comes from the
erosion of the Massif Central. This alluvial deposit, with a maximum thickness of up to 6 meters, is a mix of sand and gravel or pebbles packed in a clay matrix.

The Quincy Sauvignon Blanc takes advantage of the mild climate of the Cher Valley to develop 'airy'. The vinification at a low temperature preserves the subtlety of the flavors of Sauvignon Blanc. A complex nose of aromas of blackcurrant, lemon and hawthorn stands out. The taste is round, lifted by a spicy finish with fresh mandarin notes. This Quincy cuvée is very much appreciated with scallop carpaccio or salmon with sorrel. It's also a great treat with goat cheese.
