2017 Ca' del Bosco Franciacorta Brut Millesimato Vintage Collection
This traditional sparkling wine is made in the Franciacorta area, between Brescia and Bergamo, near Lake Iseo. The mountains and the lake have a favorable influence on the wine. The soil and the same grape varieties as in the champagne ensure that this wine has become a formidable competitor to the well-known champagnes.
A stone's throw from Lake Isseo, Paolo Radici established Agricola Ronco Calino in 1996. The 10-hectare vineyard is managed by agronomist Leonardo Valenti, who, together with oenologist Francesco Polastri, is responsible for the quality of this house. Franciacorta brut DOCG is the designation of origin of the best Italian appellation for sparkling wines. The wines from this region are most similar to the French Champagnes. The soil composition and the grape varieties used are also similar.
The Franciacorta brut Millésimato has a golden yellow color and a fine pearl. In the nose we mainly recognize ripe exotic fruit and nuts. Soft and complex taste. Long and expressive finish. Blessed. This Vintage Bubbles is only made in the best years. This Ca' del Bosco Franciacorta gives the character of the unique area like no other. A unique wine; full, structured and intense.
