Ulysses Vineyard is one of the absolute top in Nappa Valley. The 2015 Ulysses is a blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. the wine in the glass is opaque purple and the wine has a beautiful appearance. In the nose tones of incense, Asian herbs, cedar wood, cream of cassis, a hint of blackberries and graphite. It has great fresh fruit on arrival in the mouth. The wine is full bodied with fine-grained tannins and a nice purity. This wine probably needs another year in 4 bottle maturation and can easily be stored for 30+ years.
