Description
They belong to the secret heroes of the international wine world: winemakers such as the quality-seeking Carlos Figueiredo, who esteems his birthplace Dão and the local terroir, but also produces wines at a global level. With his wines, wine lovers find the individuality that is often lost in times of increasing globalization of wine tastes: authentic, traditionally prepared wines with a radiant regional character, made from indigenous grape varieties in a limited edition.
The 2015 Espumante Rosé Touriga Nacional Extra Reserva (Falorca) is a collector's item and is only made in a limited edition. The wine is made from the Portuguese grape called Touriga Nacional. The wine has matured for 24 months on its lees and can therefore be called a Reserva or even Extra Reserva. The wine is dry, elegant and fresh and has a delicate but persistent pleasant feeling with very nice refined bubbles. The wine is already very good to drink with a good aging potential. The price quality is unprecedentedly good and you can compare this with a rose champagne for which 50 euros or more must be paid quickly.

Wijnhuis
Located in Pindelos or Silgueiros, Quinta da Falorca is the reference model and top wine house from the Portuguese Dão. No volumes but only quality. It is therefore quite difficult to get a Quinta da Falorca and especially their high-end wines. This is due to a number of factors, namely:
- unprecedented fine wines
- made in very small quantities
- and still very affordable
Quinta da Falorca is one of the secret heroes of the international wine world: winegrowers such as the quality-striving Carlos Figueiredo, who values his native Dão and the local terroir, but also produces world-class wines. Among his wines, wine lovers will find the individuality that is often lost in times of increasing globalization of the wine taste: authentic, traditionally prepared wines with a radiant regional character, made from indigenous grape varieties in a limited edition.
