A delicious Brut Rosé with its charming, pale silver-pink hue and exuberant character, this Brut Rosé is a beautiful and striking accompaniment to any special occasion. Lively sparkling yet pleasant in the mouth. The beautiful hue of this wine is caused by a special enzymatic reaction during the transportation of the Pinot Noir fruit. The Brut Rosé has a powerful scent with a noticeable presence of pinot noir and aromas of strawberries, raspberries and cherries. The taste experience is wonderfully fresh, exuberant and flirty, but at the same time elegant and structured. A full-fledged all-rounder.
This Brut Rosé from the South African winery Graham Beck is made from the perfect mix of the two classic Cap Classique varieties, the Chardonnay and the Pinot Noir, from the estates in Robertson and Stellenbosch. The grapes are always picked by hand and then transported directly to the cellars where they are pressed. Only the best quality juice is used for fermentation. The musts then undergo separate fermentation and a sophisticated blend is then made. When the right mix is made, the wine is bottled and left in the bottle for about 15 to 18 months. This Sparkle wine, made in a Champagne (Method Traditionelle) way, is a single vintage wine from 1 vintage and is not blended. 90/100 Suckling
Delicious to enjoy on a terrace (as an aperitif) and also very tasty with fish, desserts with fruit.
Graham Beck winery is located in Robertson, South Africa, in the Western Cape province about 175km from Cape Town. In 1983, Graham Beck bought a farm in Robertson with only one goal in mind: to start a top wine house. And it worked! In the meantime, there has been considerable expansion and Graham Beck Wines has 4 wineries in Franschhoek, Robertson and Stellenbosch with a total of almost 400 hectares of vineyards.
Because this winery has access to different areas, it is possible to plant the perfect grape in the right area based on the correct micro-climate & soil combination. As a result, winery Graham Beck creates the perfect conditions for itself, which ensures harvests that can be called fantastic.
This winery works with an eye for detail and you can taste that in the wines. Graham Beck winery is very successful and is now known for its great sparkling wines that are champagne-like but at a much better price.
