The Tumba del Rey Moro comes from one of Comando G's most freaky vineyards, one that would almost have been lost if Fernando and Daniel had not saved him from oblivion. Located at an altitude of 1100 m, granite floor with loose sand and with a northern orientation. Hardly 0.5 ha with Garnacha of 70 years old. Spain's Château Rayas!

The grapes are grown according to biodynamic principles. The harvest is manual. Only native yeasts. Maceration and fermentation without being undisturbed in open feeds for 60 days. 12-month elevation on French barriques of 500 and 700 liters. The Comano G Tumba del Rey Moro is very light in color, between light red and dark pink. In the nose a nice scent of typical Grenache cherries and northern cherries, even some orange zest and cloves. Solid in the mouth, but oh so flawless and elegant. Fantastic finesse! In his review of the Tumba del Rey Moro, the Wine Advocate (Parker) wrote: "this is unbelievable. Unfortunately, it won't be easy to find."

Three young but very famous winemakers - Fernando Garcia ( Bodegas Marañones ), Daniel Gómez   Jimenez   Landi   ( Bodegas Jimenez   Landi ) and Marc Isart   ( Bodegas Bernabeleva ) - are responsible for the   Command   G. with the intention to further develop the Madrid Region de Grenache grape. All three winemakers produce Top grenaches under their individual label that can compete with the famous Chateaneuf wines, especially if you take a price into account. The area is ideal for the Grenache (high, warm during the day with considerable cooling, considerable lime soil).
