Description
Pol Roger is the most British champagne house. Not only because of the prestigious Sir Winston Churchill cuvée, but also because this Brut Reserve was served at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan. The vineyards of Champagne Pol Roger are located on the gently rolling slopes of the Marne department close to the town of Epernay against the Montagne de Reims. The grapes for this Champagne come exclusively from the best vineyards. The 7 km long cellars are important, which are among the coldest (± 9 °C) in the Champagne region. The lower the temperature, the slower the fermentation, the finer the bubbles and fuller the bouquet.
Champagne Pol Roger Brut Rosé is composed of 50% Pinot Noir and 35% Chardonnay and 15% red wine from the best red wine village Bouzy. Pol Roger's 2012 Brut Rosé continues to show itself very well, with aromas of plum, red fruit, brioche, blood orange and smoke rising from the glass. Full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, it is a texturally rich, elegantly muscular wine with a fine concentration and a juicy core of fruit, complemented by a beautiful, refined mousse. This is a charming, gourmet rosé that starts drinking with style.
