Well we have to tell the Bordeaux enthusiast something about vintage 2009 & 2010. Is it widely known that this is one of the most beautiful years in the bordeaux. Many sweet Christmas fruitcake notes mixed with black cherries, black currants, licorice and incense stand out from the glass of this dense purple-colored wine. Medium to full body with surprisingly soft, round tannins and a beautiful middle palate, the 2009 and 2010 models of Chateau La Gaffeliere are namely those of the elegant, spicy style of the estate. This beauty can be drunk early but can also stay in the cellar until 2050. It is important to report that we (may) buy these wines directly at Chateau La Gaffeliere so the wine comes from the cellars directly to our conditioned warehouse (so no parties who have roamed the world in questionable environments which unfortunately happens too often with this type of wine).
